2017 CME Trading Challenge
CME Group's 2017 Trading Challenge is an electronic trading team competition designed to provide student teams with an educational experience consistent with that of professional trading of CME Group products. Teams participating from CU Boulder include undergraduate and MBA students. In the 2016 CME Trading Challenge, a Leeds team took 4th place out of 468 teams participating worldwide.

2016 Burridge Conference
The Burridge Center held the annual Burridge Conference in November 2016.
The conference featured presentations from a variety of speakers in the heart of the CU-Boulder campus on the state of the markets. The day included presentations, Q&A, a networking event, and a dinner speaker event featuring alumnus Dick Fuld.
The Colorado Finance Research Summit gathers academics every year in Vail, Colorado.
2017 San Francisco Trek
On the trek, students were able to network with recruiting teams, Leeds alumni, and leading professionals while visiting a number of top financial institutions.
